We were asked about the dark 'n' stormy in Week 2, when the question (General Knowledge No. 17) was about the alcoholic ingredient (rum).
On that occasion I noted that the name 'dark 'n' stormy' had been patented by Gosling Brothers Ltd. – a Bermudan blender and distributor of rum, established in 1806 – and that the dark 'n' stormy is often described as the national drink of Bermuda.
